Excellence. JD Underground Solutions was established by Julio Ruiz and Damarys Medina, both seasoned professionals with over 23 years of hands experience in underground utility construction. Our journey began in Puerto, where we launched our careers with PRASA, the Puerto Rico Aqueduct Sewer Authority, delivering essential water and sewer infrastructure projects throughout the island.
 
In 2014, we relocated to Dallas, Texas, where we further developed our expertise and engaged with the local construction industry. By cultivating strong relationships with leading companies in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, we acquired valuable insights into Texas construction standards and practices. In 2018, we chose Austin as our home base and founded JD Underground Solutions to address the rising demand high-quality underground utility services in Central Texas. Since then, we have successfully executed a diverse range of site utility projects for commercial developments and multifamily communities across the region.
 
As a small, minority-owned business, we recognize the challenges of entering the industry, establishing a solid reputation, and achieving sustainable growth. We have confronted these challenges with diligence, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
